In India, we don’t have 24-hour water supply and hence drink stored water after filtration through RO or other systems as well as consume packaged drinking water. These filtration processes reduce the pH level of the water and make it acidic. Also the junk and outside food is acidic in nature. The consumption of acidic food and water add and aggravate the toxins in our digestive system, thereby makes it very weak and prone to diseases. The Acidic nature of food and water also multiply the Cancer cells in our body, which is one of the reasons that many people are suffering with Cancer now a days. The pH level of water should be around 9 to 10, whereas after filtration process it remains only 5-7 (pH level below 7 is acidic) which is again acidic.
We should drink and eat water/food which are alkaline in nature. The fresh fruits, vegetables and home-cooked food are alkaline. To make filtered water alkaline, add 2 pinches of Baking Soda (Meetha Soda) to 1 litre of water, it’ll become alkaline and drinkable. (It is advised that pH level of the water should be tested with pH strips available in the market and quantity of Baking Soda added accordingly to make the pH level approx.. 9-10). In fact, Baking Soda is Sodium Bicarbonate which is used by medical science for the treatment of Cancer.
